HOW MUCH WILL IT COST ME TO USE YOUR SERVICE?
Any Cost? If you book a trip through Guest Pacific, it will not cost you more. We have excellent contract rates with our suppliers. In fact, the cost to you will be exactly the same. In addition to our full service, you will have access to all your entire itinerary - pre-loaded on a travel app.
CAN I PLAN A BETTER TRIP MYSELF USING THE INTERNET?
Better self-plan? Unlike anonymous travel websites, we stand by our recommendations. As an accredited travel specialist, we know our products well. If you have any unforeseen hitches during your trip, we shall sort them out immediately!
HOW DOES THE BOOKING PROCESS WORK?
How does it work? By using e-mail, skype and phone, a Pacific-based travel consultant will send you a written confirmation of your bookings. Payment is requested 30 days before travel. Once payment is made, you'll receive a detailed itinerary - either online, as a PDF, or on a travel app. We accept payment by credit card or Paypal. We charge a service charge of two percent for both options. However, if you use a bank transfer, no service fee will apply. In fact, bank transfers are the best way to convey larger overseas payments and to avoid conversion fees.
WILL I BE ASKED TO SECURE MY BOOKING WITH A DEPOSIT?
Deposit - Why? We are a small company committed to a personalized service. Creating and coordinating a customized itinerary for each Guest takes a lot of time. Therefore, we require a deposit of upwards of NZ$150 (depending on the effort we have invested on your behalf). Please Note: your deposit will be fully credited back to your reservation file, once you confirm your booking.
CAN'T YOU JUST INITIALLY PROVIDE FREE TRAVEL INFORMATION?
Free Information? We are a boutique company with a strong personal service. Therefore we cannot function as an Information centre. After a few initial conversations (by email, phone or skype) we shall request a deposit from you before proceeding further. Your deposit can be paid via PayPal ( major credit cards are also accepted). However, in this instance, we shall NOT charge any credit card service fees.
DO YOU OFFER SPECIAL DEALS?
Deals? We can work to a realistic budget to get the best value for you. You will have a range of differently priced accommodation, transport and island activities. Some of the smaller, less known tourism providers, often provide far better value for money than the more well known options. Our policy is to remain fully independent and impartial.
HOW DOES GUEST CHOOSE THE OPERATORS/ACCOMMODATION THEY'RE RECOMMENDING?
How choosen? We review each property and operator we recommend. That way, we develop good relationships with our suppliers. This also ensures that our customers get the style and facilities of their choice. You'll enjoy unique locations, stylish interiors and great food. The same applies for the tours and activities we recommend - only those with knowledgeable friendly guides and a proven safety record.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICES YOU QUOTE?
What is included? We try to ensure your itinerary is as cost inclusive as possible. Your travel itinerary won't be overloaded with tours and trip - you will get enough time to decide at location if there are additional activities you wish to do. All prices for accommodation are net per room, unless otherwise stated. All prices include Goods and Services Tax and are quoted in New Zealand dollars.
CAN YOU BOOK INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS?
Book flights? We can book International flights between Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. Travellers from outside these countries need to arrange their own flights to and from their home country.
